unix beard ftw

I’ve been growing my beard for 2 weeks now. I started after some advanced notice of joining midrange team so I can start as a gray-beard.  I’ll consider keeping it so I can cosplay as king leonidas later in the year.  I’ll just have to work on my voice so I can accurately quote things like “MADNESS? THIS IS SPARTA!” and “TONIGHT WE DINE IN HELL!”. If you didn’t get the hint wiifit is working.  I haven’t been spending nearly as much time on it as I would like cause i’ve been at my computer waiting for awesome stuff  to happen.

Speaking of awesome stuff. I went to the realtek website (http://www.realtek.com.tw) and they have released a new version of their PCI-E gigabit controller drivers!!!!!! I’m pretty excited as I think the old ones weren’t compatible with the newest kernel. I’m not entirely sure, but I have a good feeling about them. Either that or I am going to be *forced* to upgrade my old sata HDD to some sweet arse raid0  solid state drives. I can’t quite afford the carbon fiber ones, but I’m working really hard for them. Apparently my audo-setup wasn’t as hard as I had imagined. Just had to select the right mixer and put in the right levels/muted stuff and it works way better than expected.

I’m going to try something strange here and put that I hate being sick, but it has done wonders for my figure. It has been cold. I am committed to keeping up the massiveness of my legs so that when it becomes summer I can put my damned camel-pack to use.  I’m going to bed early *again* tonight so that I can manage the ride in. I’m going to leave in the middle of the day too (it’ll be closer to 2) so I can take some documents to another office. It’ll be a challenge to ride my motorbike down when I want to ride my pushy. Bloody time constraints. Some people would have you believe interns do nothing. Man my face is puffy. Florescent lighting and my iphone really suck for taking photos too.  My neck is massive too.  Shut up, it is designed like that to support my massive lats.

i amgetting an internal server error on http://tinyurl.com/n5fgd9.  2 weeks in and I am not loving my beard. I am going to buy some conditioner for it I reckon. Perhaps a little comb/brush.  I put on my balaclava the other night and it was both spiky and amusing to have hair poking out of it.  Not to mention people I haven’t seen in a long time thought I was sporting a beard. 2 weeks in. Impressive ay? I’ll take another one in a week to have a 3 week consecutive shot.

Surprise weight. I haven’t been on the scales for about a week (maybe longer) but I was loosing weight when I hopped on and apparently wiifit thinks I’m sailing south of my goal. Perhaps I’ll just ignore my target weight and just get gun as.  I’ll have to hop on that protein shake + my normal meals.

I am OVERLY convinced that IBM is the target of Scott Adam’s jokes. I was pretty much convinced before, but now I think there is no mistaking it.  The damp mattress one, the self-mutilation software, claim code access and now the paper cups.  Speaking of IBM the split is coming. It is going to be a massive change and I’m not sure how awesome it’ll be. After hours work might be different. Care factor is 0. Depending on *what* the work is.
